Celebrating our 12th year!
At the foothills of Appalachia, somewhere among the mobile homes, Mail Pouch barns, and satellite dishes lies Athens, Ohio – home of Ohio University and 3 Elliott Studio. Located next to the campus of Ohio University, 3 Elliott Studio is owned and operated by Josh Antonuccio and Christopher Pyle, graduates of Ohio University, long-time residents of Athens Ohio, and self-declared music geeks.
The studio was originally opened out of a glorified garage in the fall of 2000 and, mostly by word of mouth, has since become one of the most popular recording studios in Southern Ohio and is the only commercial facility within walking distance of both Ohio University and the uptown Athens area.
3 Elliott Studio is a five-room facility, designed by professional studio designer Chris Weibel. We offer superb recording rooms, analog pre-amps and compressors, outstanding microphones, vintage equipment, as well as professional and music-loving engineers who live to capture great recordings. Both 16-track analog tape recording and digital multi-track recording are available in order to get the best sound for your music.
So, look around, and hopefully our site will give you a feel for what we have to offer for your next recording. Contact us for rate information or a tour of our facility.
Toledo OH’s own Mindfish stopped by 3 Elliott Studio to churn out a single, just their long-awaited show in Athens. The new track, entitled “What Can I Say”, was made available as an exclusive for Record Store Day. With just one guitar, and two drummers, the Athens’ favorites had a whirlwind session with engineer Adam Rich.
